Dirk Bostelmann

Dirk Bostelmann (* 1952 in Hamburg ) is a German local politician ( CDU ) and a former full-time mayor of the joint municipality of Tostedt .

Life

Dirk Bostelmann was born in Hamburg and grew up in Todtglüsingen . From 1962 to 1971 he attended the Ratsgymnasium in Rotenburg (Wümme) . He studied economics, economic history and German in Hamburg. At the end of the 1970s he founded Dirk Bostelmann KG, which is active in agriculture.

Dirk Bostelmann has been a member of the local council since 1981 and of the general council since 1986. On September 10, 2006, he was elected Mayor of Tostedt for a period of eight years with 55.6% of the valid votes. With this majority of votes, he prevailed against his competitor.

From November 1, 2006 to October 31, 2014, Dirk Bostelmann was the full-time mayor of the joint municipality of Tostedt. His successor is Peter Dörsam .
