Dirk Dittrich (born January 29, 1986 ) is a former German soccer player . The center- back played in the United States and Germany throughout his career .
Career
In his youth, Dittrich played for SSV Reutlingen and the Stuttgarter Kickers . In the summer of 2005, the central defender was transferred to the second team of the Kickers. From 2007 to 2008 he studied at Virginia Commonwealth University in the USA and played for the Future Team of the Richmond Kickers .
After his return to Germany in January 2009, Dittrich signed a professional contract with the Stuttgarter Kickers and was given the number "23" on his back. Until the end of the season he stayed without a game in the 3rd division and could not prevent the traditional club from relegating to the fourth-class Regionalliga Süd . After relegation without a valid contract, he moved to the VSK Osterholz-Scharmbeck, trained by Günter Hermann , in the fifth-class Oberliga Niedersachsen . There he ended his career in 2010.
