Dirk Oncken
Dirk Oncken (born June 2, 1919 in Heidelberg ; † 2015 ) was a German diplomat.
Career
Oncken was a son of the historian Hermann Oncken . He joined the Federal Republic of Germany's Foreign Service at the beginning of 1952 .
From 1972 to 1977 he was ambassador to Greece , from 1977 to 1979 ambassador to India and from 1979 to 1984 ambassador to Turkey . His daughter is the diplomat Emily Haber .
