Dirk Orlishausen (born August 15, 1982 in Sömmerda ) is a former German soccer goalkeeper . He is currently under contract with Hansa Rostock as a goalkeeping coach.

career

Orlishausen played at the beginning of his career in the national class at FSV Sömmerda until he was committed to the then regional league club FC Rot-Weiß Erfurt in the 2005/06 season . After eleven match days, he replaced Michael Ratajczak as a regular goalkeeper and played 26 games in this season. In 2006/07 neither of the two could prevail as a regular goalkeeper and they made about the same number of appearances: Orlishausen played 17 and Ratajczak 19 games. When Michael Ratajczak was signed by Fortuna Düsseldorf for the 2007/08 season , Erfurt brought André Maczkowiak as the new goalkeeper. Due to some injuries from Maczkowiaks, Orlishausen still came on 15 missions. Since André Maczkowiak returned to his old club Rot-Weiss Essen after only one year , Dirk Orlishausen had been the goalkeeper of Erfurt since the first season of the 3rd division .

Orlishausen came to 168 league games and four appearances in the DFB Cup for Rot-Weiß Erfurt, including one in the second team.

For the 2011/12 season Orlishausen moved to the second division club Karlsruher SC . After the 16th place in the table and the lost relegation against SSV Jahn Regensburg , he rose with the KSC in the 3rd division. In the 2012/13 season he succeeded in direct resurgence with the KSC. In April 2014 Orlishausen had to undergo a tumor operation. In the next season the KSC played in the upper regions of the second division. In the following year Karlsruhe reached the promotion relegation against Hamburger SV with Orlishausen as regular goalkeeper and captain. Despite good performances, Orlishausen and his team had to admit defeat after two games. At the end of the 2016/17 season, KSC rose again to the 3rd division with Orlishausen as captain. For the subsequent 2017/18 season he was replaced by Kai Bülow as captain. He lost his regular place to Benjamin Uphoff .

In May 2018 Orlishausen moved to Hansa Rostock on the Baltic Sea . He not only took over the post of goalkeeping coach, but also the role of 3rd goalkeeper in the team. Before he left the squad in the summer of 2019, he played his last game for the club's second team .
