Dirty Deeds '79 is a Founded in 1989 German AC / DC - Cover band band from Bonn .
history
The band formed in 1989, almost ten years after the death of AC / DC singer Bon Scott . The band prefers music tracks from the Bon Scott era.
In the following years the group made a name for itself through concerts in the Bonn area, such as B. 1992 in the Bonn biscuit hall at the farewell concert of Molotow Soda or 1991 on the Rhine culture .
In 2001, Dirty Deeds '79 then appeared for the first time in the second and still valid line-up. Since then, the band has played annually concerts at Christmas time in Bonn's Harmonie music club , which are sold out and have been extended to three in a row since 2008 and four in 2013 for the first time.
The Dirty Deeds '79 played concerts at home and abroad, e. B. 2002 at the FC St. Pauli relegation party and the Jürgen Kohler farewell party, 2003 and 2004 at the Ibiza Bikeweek, 2005 the Minsk City Festival ( Belarus ), 2008 the Bike Weekend Studen ( Switzerland ), 2009 and 2010 at the Rhine in flames and in 2010 at the FC St. Pauli promotion party.
On March 20, 2007, the WDR- Rockpalast recorded a pure cover band for the first time with the Dirty Deeds '79 .
The three Christmas concerts at Harmonie Bonn 2008 were under the motto of CO 2 -neutral design / execution by Co2mpense , and it was the band's intention to make a contribution to climate protection.
Others
- The band members Gonzo and KutA previously played in the punk band Molotow Soda .
- The guitarist Volker "Vangus" Voigt also plays in the punk rock band Molotow Soda and played in the Zeltinger Band .
- Singer Alex Big Bon Kaiser sang on Feed The Monkey, Rhesus and Big Al & The Hedgehogs.
- Bassist Dr. Williams played as Albino Släsch for Aso Pauer.
