Disco house
Disco house is a style of electronic dance music . It combines the sound of modern house music with elements of classic disco music .
history
In the late 1980s, Joey Negro experimented . He wanted to recreate the classic disco sound with the help of modern technology. This new sound was first made available to the general public by Black Box with their 1989 hit Ride on Time . This track was a cover of Love Sensation by Loleatta Holloway from 1980. In 1999, this style reached the title " New York City Boy " the Pet Shop Boys finally hit the dance floor. This was followed by Spiller's Groovejet and Modjos Lady in 2000 and 2001. Afterwards, after about three years, the brief boom subsided and there were only a few titles left, e.g. B. from the Disco Boys .
