DJ Isaac (born June 8, 1974 in Winschoten as Roel Schutrups) is a Dutch hardstyle DJ, music producer and one of the founders of the hardstyle genre.

Career

DJ Isaac broke through with his first official release Bad Dreams in 1995 . As a result, Roel had hits like Go Insane, Face Down Ass Up, On The Edge, DJ, Bitches, Ease My Mind, Stick Em, Digital Nation and remixes for Martin Garrix , Dash Berlin , and Yellow Claw, among others . In 2000 Roel Schutrups received a platinum album through his contribution to the Alice Deejay album Who needs guitars anyway . In 2003 Schutrups founded his own label: X-Rate Records. DJ Isaac played at big parties like Electric Daisy Carnival (300,000 visitors), Defqon.1 (60,000 visitors), Qlimax . (28,000) and Decibel Outdoor (35,000). Since 2009 Isaac has hosted a monthly podcast, Isaac's Hardstyle Sessions . This show can be heard on YouTube , SoundCloud and iTunes , among others .
