Dmitri Sergejewitsch Schitikow ( Russian Дмитрий Сергеевич Шитиков ; born January 21, 1986 in Tjumen , Russian SFSR ) is a Russian ice hockey player who has been under contract with HK Arlan Kökschetau since July 2018 .
Career
Dmitri Schitikow began his career as a hockey player in the youth of HK CSKA Moscow , for whose second team he was active in the third-rate Pervaya League from 2001 to 2004 . Then the attacker played in the 2004/05 season for HK Dinamo Minsk in the Belarusian extra league and Amur Khabarovsk in the second Russian division, the Wysschaja Liga . The left-handed shooter was then signed by HK Dynamo Moscow from the Russian Super League , with whom he won the IIHF European Champions Cup in 2006 after a final victory over Kärpät Oulu from the Finnish SM-liiga . In addition, the left-handed shooter won the Spengler Cup in 2008 with Dynamo, for which he was on the ice from the 2008/09 season in the newly founded Continental Hockey League .

In 2010 he moved to SKA Saint Petersburg and was there in 29 KHL games. Towards the end of the main round he was sent to the farm team, the HK WMF Saint Petersburg , in the Wysschaja Hockey League , where he also played the playoffs. At the end of June 2011, Shitikov was signed by Atlant Mytishchi , but handed over to Severstal Tscherepowez in September of the same year . In December 2011 he was transferred again within the KHL, this time to Amur Khabarovsk . He played for Amur until January 2013, before being given to HK Sibir Novosibirsk in exchange for Anton Malyshev shortly before the play-offs of the 2012/13 season . After the end of the season Schitikow was exchanged for Nikita Dwuretschenski from HK Vitjas. Schitikow played at HK Vitjas until the end of the 2016/17 season.

For Russia , Zhitikov took part in the U18 Junior World Championships in 2003 and 2004 .
