Dmitri Wladimirowitsch Borodin ( Russian Дми́трий Влади́мирович Бороди́н ; born October 8, 1977 in Leningrad , Soviet Union ) is a Russian football goalkeeper . He currently plays for the Russian club Zenit St. Petersburg in the Premjer league .

Career

society

Dimitri Borodin started playing football for Lokomotiv Saint Petersburg in 1998 . A year later he moved to FC Zenit St. Petersburg , where he was third goalkeeper behind Roman Berezovsky and Vyacheslav Malafeyev . In 2002 he moved to Torpedo Moscow and became the goalkeeper. At the end of 2007, however , he became the third goalkeeper after Ilya Madilow and Maxim Kabanow . Borodin moved shortly thereafter (2008) to FK Sibir Novosibirsk , but stayed there only for a short time because he went to Anzhi Makhachkala . In early 2009 Borodin signed a four-year contract with his ex-club Zenit St. Petersburg, and has only played on loan for FK Chimki .

National team

Dmitri Wladimirowitsch Borodin was on August 16, 2006 bank manager for the Russian national team against Lithuania.

Private life

Dmitri Borodin is married and has two sons.
