Dmitri Wladimirowitsch Samarin ( Russian Дмитрий Владимирович Самарин ; born October 4, 1984 in Elektrostal , Russian SFSR ) is a Russian ice hockey player who has been under contract with Titan Klin in the Vyshaya Hockey League since 2011 .

Career

Dmitri Samarin began his career as an ice hockey player in his hometown in the youth department of Kristall Elektrostal (Elemasch Elektrostal until 2003), for whose professional team he was active in the Wysschaja Liga , the second Russian division, from 2002 to 2007, in the 2006 season / 07 also played in three games for Chimik Moskowskaja Oblast in the Superliga . For the 2007/08 season, the defender signed with Chimik's league rivals Amur Khabarovsk . He then returned to Elektrostal in the second division before he was committed in the course of the 2008/09 season by Chimik Voskressensk from the newly formed Continental Hockey League . After the team was excluded from the league due to financial problems, Samarin signed for the 2009/10 season with his ex-club Amur Khabarovsk, which was also included in the KHL in 2008.

The 2010/11 season Samarin spent with Krylya Sowetow Moscow in the new second Russian division, the Vysschaya Hockey League . The following season he moved within the league to Titan Klin .
