action
Daniel and Christopher are about to get married and have invited close family and friends to dinner the night before. The 40-year-old and the early 30-year-old are very different types in their interests, their choice of friends and in the way they deal with the stresses of life. Daniel is a perfectionist and wants to conjure up an unforgettable meal in the kitchen, although he does not want to be helped. It is therefore a good thing that Christopher is brought out for brunch by his friends Summer and Bradley, who, to his surprise, invited Emma, his childhood friend, with whom he had not had contact since puberty, as a wedding gift, so to speak.
Daniel, who didn't know anything about this, is excited when Emma appears as another guest at the dinner party and through her learns something about Christopher's previous life. Christopher should also learn a lot about his future husband that evening. Daniel had always admitted that he had a few dates with Jacob in the past, but now it turns out that there were a few more, as claimed. The crisis worsens after the arrival of Daniel's loving but sometimes quite intrusive parents and sister, and things get worse when the woman who was supposed to be performing her wedding ceremony has to leave town urgently.

Reviews
Stephen Farber of The Hollywood Reporter explains that a large part of the film consists of dialogue scenes between two characters and is a combination of close-ups in a row, which looks like a monotonous metronome. The film's unimaginative design and editing is not justified by its low budget, and the gay couple's lavish lifestyles could cause public discomfort.
