Alona valley
Alona Tal (born October 20, 1983 in Herzliya ) is an Israeli actress .
Career
The origins of her acting career go back to a musical videotape for children in which she portrayed a wicked witch. She then appeared in a laundry detergent commercial and got the lead role in Lihiyot Kohav ( To Be A Star ).
During the making of this film, they received role offers on two different Israeli television shows, which she both accepted. The first offer was a soap opera about the life of a hotelier family ( Tzimerim ); the second offer was a sitcom about an ambitious band determined to achieve a breakthrough and success ( HaPijamot ). This sitcom held its own for three seasons and gave Alona the chance to reveal her musical talent. As a result, Tal recorded various songs with the Israeli rapper Subliminal .
Looking for a break from her busy schedule, Tal went to New York to see her sister. There she met the musician Wyclef Jean and also recorded a song with him. In an interview, he referred to himself as her mentor, eager to help Alona practice her true passion, music. Tal auditioned for the role of Veronica Mars . This position was ultimately given to Kristen Bell and Rob Thomas , the inventor of the series of the same name, wrote the role of Meg Manning for Alona , which Tal played in ten episodes.
She also had several guest appearances in well-known television series. Tal appeared as Rebecca King in nine episodes of the CBS series Cane , which was canceled after just one season . From 2006 to 2009 she played another guest role in the mystery series Supernatural , the character Joanna Beth "Jo" Harvelle , in 2011 she appeared again in the series.
On June 5, 2007, she married the actor Marcos Ferraez . In March 2017, the couple's first child, a girl, was born.
