Marla Sokoloff

Marla Lynne Sokoloff (born December 19, 1980 in San Francisco , California ) is an American actress and musician . She made her first appearance on television at the age of twelve in the series Full House . In Los Angeles she attended the High School of the Arts from 1994 , where she studied theater and music.

Sokoloff has been with the band Deadsy's composer and drummer Alec Puro since 2004 , whom she married on November 8, 2009. Their daughter was born on February 8, 2012.

So far, Sokoloff has been seen in several episodes of Desperate Housewives , an episode Friends , an episode Listen, Who's Hammering and Burn Notice . From 1999 to 2003 she was part of the regular cast of The Practice . She also starred in several films, including Sugar & Spice , Dude, Where's My Car? and Love on the Side (2004).
