Doctor's Darling is a riddim that contains elements of both roots reggae and dancehall . It is based on the "Night Nurse Riddim".

This riddim is recorded and programmed by Seeed . In this case, which was drums recorded first, looped or triggered and the Great kick drum (bass drum) is replaced by a sample kick. The originally continuous hi-hat was left acoustically, but some loops were removed.
General
Well-known reggae and dancehall artists like Dr. Ring-Ding ( Doctor's Darling ), Luciano ( Stay Away ), Capleton ( Bun Dem Every Day ) and Junior Kelly ( Korruption ) sang on this instrumental. Other artists were Sizzla ( Pure Love ), Michael Rose , Nosliw ( Only there ), Turbulence ( Life is not a game ), General Degree ( It no matter ), Marcelo Araújo Alves (In love with the wrong girl ) and Marika ( Siła ognia ).
"Waterpumpee" is the version that Seeed sang with Anthony B on their own riddim.
This riddim was a huge success, especially thanks to Tanya Stephens ' It's a pity , which made it to first place on the reggae charts in many countries. Not least because of this, Seeed gained international fame and recognition through this riddim.
These versions were released on a one-riddim compilation under the name Doctor's Darling - Riddim Driven .
