Dodô , real name Raphael Guimarães de Paula (born September 5, 1994 in Vespasiano , Minas Gerais ), is a Brazilian soccer player . The right foot is used in the right or left midfield.
Career
Dodô started his career in the youth team of Atlético Mineiro . Here he also made the leap into the professional squad. On October 10, 2013, he made his first appearance in the professional squad in Série A. He was substituted on in the game against AA Ponte Preta in the 77th minute. The player scored his first goal as a professional in the following season on September 8, 2011 against Palmeiras São Paulo . Dodô made his first appearance at international club level on February 19, 2015 against CSD Colo-Colo . In March 2016 he was loaned to Figueirense FC .
Dodô was loaned to Chapecoense for the 2017 season. The loan from Atlético Mineiro is part of the club's support after the LaMia flight 2933 plane crash . Also in the 2018 season, Dodô was not included in the Atlético squad . To the games in the state championships, he was at the Botafogo FC (SP) and the championship round in 2018 at the Fortaleza EC in the Série B . To win the title and promotion to the Série A, Dodô contributed four goals in 35 of 38 possible games. Dodô started the 2019 season with Fortaleza, but Atlético's contract was prematurely terminated in order to loan him to the Khor Fakkan Club in the UAE .
