Doggie Julian
Alvin F. "Doggie" Julian (born April 5, 1901 in Reading , Pennsylvania , † July 28, 1967 in White River Junction , Vermont ) was an American basketball coach . He is best known for winning the NCAA championship with the College of the Holy Cross in 1947. He later coached the Boston Celtics .
For his achievements, Julian was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 1968.
