The glacial formed by glacial Dolina Trzydniowiańska is a valley in the Polish West Tatra in the Lesser Poland . It is located in the municipality of Kościelisko in the powiat Tatrzański .
geography
The valley is a side valley of the main valley Dolina Chochołowska . It is located in the Trzydniowiański Wierch massif .
The Ptasiniec stream flows through the valley and forms numerous waterfalls.
etymology
The name can be translated as "valley of three days". The genesis of the name is not clear. Before the 19th century it was called Trąbowa Dolinka. This name goes back to the Góralen family Trąbka from Morawczyna , who had alpine rights to the valley. The Hala Trzydniówka pasture existed until around 1925.
Flora and fauna
The valley lies above and below the tree line and is overgrown by coniferous forest. The valley is a retreat for numerous mammals and bird species.
