The Dolkun Muztag is a 6355 m high glaciated mountain in the eastern Pamir Mountains in Xinjiang ( PR China ).
The Dolkun Muztag is located in the Tajik Autonomous District of Tashkorgan in the administrative district of Kashgar . The mountain is part of the Muztagata massif . To 7509 m high and 11.7 kilometers north-westerly Muztagata introduces ridge. The 6,858 m high Kokosel Tagh and the 7,028 m high Koskulak Tagh rise between these two mountains.
Ascent history
A Japanese group of climbers (Yuka Komatsu, Tatsuya Aoki and Kazuya Hiraide) made the first ascent on August 15, 2004.
