Guidfosse dolmen
The dolmen of Guidfoss (e) (also called En-er-Huennou d'Endiass or Parc-er-Crueno ) is located about 500 m from the Guidfosse manor, about south of Plouray near the River Ellé in the arrondissement of Pontivy in the Morbihan department in of Brittany in France . The complex dates back to the Neolithic , around 3000–2700 BC. In France , dolmen is the generic term for megalithic structures of all kinds (see: French nomenclature ).
The chamber of the simple dolmen ( French dolmen simple ) is covered by a capstone lying on three bearing stones, while three smaller stones belong to the corridor to the east. A group of three stone boxes ( French Coffre ) from the Bronze Age was also discovered near Guidfosse.
The dolmen has been protected as a monument historique since 1978 .
