Kerugou dolmen
The Kerugou dolmen (also called Allée couverte de Kerugou ) is located near Beuzec, northwest of Plomeur in Cornouaille in the Finistère department in Brittany in France . In France, dolmen is the generic term for megalithic structures of all kinds (see: French nomenclature ).
The T-shaped dolmen with side chambers (without a head niche) consists of the approximately 9.0 m long corridor that widens towards the chamber and there up to 2.0 m wide and the chamber with the two approximately 3.0 m × 2, 5 m large side chambers at the western end. The north chamber is exactly rectangular, while the main and south chambers have sloping walls on their south side. The cover of the dolmen has disappeared, only a ceiling plate near the entrance has been replaced. Much has been preserved from the hill.
