Dolni Glavanak (or Dolni Glavanak , Bulgarian Долни Главанак ) is a Bulgarian village in the municipality of Madscharowo province (oblast) Haskovo in the southeast of the country, near the Bulgarian-Turkish border.

The village is located in the Thrace countryside in the Rhodope Mountains , approx. 35 km west of Charmanli and 55 km southwest of Haskowo . The Madscharovo community center is located 12 km south of the village.

After the Balkan War (1912/13), Bulgarian refugees (→ Thracian Bulgarians ) from western and eastern Thrace in what is now Greece and Turkey settled in the village . The Georgskirche was built in the 1930s.

In 1998 a cromlech was discovered near Dolni Glawanak (→ Cromlech near Dolni Glawanak ). Archaeological research in 1999 found that the complex was built in the second phase of the Early Iron Age (8th to 6th centuries BC). The found fragments of clay pots, paint residues and metal objects provide evidence of the cult activities carried out there. They were found mainly in the area of the stone blocks. The cult facility was used for a long time. Cult acts were also carried out there in the late Iron Age (5th to 1st century BC). Individual finds show that cults were also carried out there in the Middle Ages.
