Dom Capers
Ernest Dominic "Dom" Capers (born August 7, 1950 in Cambridge , Ohio ) is an American American football coach. Since January 19, 2009 he has been the defensive coordinator of the Green Bay Packers in the National Football League (NFL). Capers began his career in college football at Kent State University . In 1986 he got his first job in the NFL as an assistant coach with the New Orleans Saints . From 1995 to 1998 he was head coach of the newly formed Carolina Panthers and from 2002 to 2005 he was head coach of the Houston Texans . He is the only person to coach two NFL expansion teams in their inception season.
