Domenic Janett

Domenic Janett (born July 12, 1949 in Tschlin ) is a music teacher, composer, clarinet and saxophone player from the Swiss canton of Graubünden . Today he lives in Stugl with his wife Rupali . They have two children together: a daughter and a son.

Musical career

Domenic Janett comes from a musical family from Tschlin. After completing an apprenticeship as a carpenter in Scuol, he studied music at the Zurich Conservatory (now ZhdK). He studied clarinet and graduated successfully. Today he works as a freelance musician. His musical spaces of the Landler , jazz , classical and brass music . Since 1974 he has been a permanent member of the Engadiner LÄNDERFRUNDA from Celerina , which has since benefited from Janett's compositional work. In 1983 he co-founded the Ils Fränzlis da Tschlin , a successor to Franz Fränzli Waser and his musicians.
