Dominic Iorfa (born October 1, 1968 in Gboko ) is a former Nigerian soccer player . His son Dominic is also a soccer player.

He is the club president of Lobi Stars .

Career

In the club

Iorfa began his career with BCC Lions FC in the mid-1980s . In 1989 the striker moved to Belgium for Royal Antwerp . In March 1990, Queens Park Rangers signed him for a transfer fee of £ 145,000. He played eight league games for Rangers and then went to Turkey for Galatasaray Istanbul . For the yellow-reds , Iorfa came to eight league games as before at Queens Park Rangers. In 1992 the striker returned to England and played for Peterborough United and Southend United . From 1996 to 1998 he was active in China ( Instant-Dict FC , Guangzhou Apollo , and Buler Rangers ).

Dominic Iorfa ended his career in 2000 in his home country with Lobi Stars .

In the national team

In 1988 he took part in the 1988 Summer Olympics with the Nigerian U-23. Dominic Iorfa played four times for Nigeria from 1989 to 1995. He also took part in the 1995 King Fahd Cup .
