The 1995 King Fahd Cup ( English King Fahd Cup in 1995 ) was the second playout this intercontinental football Competition for teams with more than two participants and took place from 6 to 13 January for the second time in 1992 in Saudi Arabia held . The tournament is considered to be the forerunner of the FIFA Confederations Cup, which was first held in 1997 .
European champions Denmark won the tournament in the final against defending champions and South American champions Argentina.

The number of participants in the tournament was increased from four to six teams, as the invitation from King Fahd ibn Abd al-Aziz this time five continental champions accepted. The following teams took part:
Third in the tournament, in front of 20,000 spectators in Riyadh, was the Mexican national football team after a 5-4 win over Nigeria on penalties. The goals in regular time were scored by Ramón Ramírez for Mexico in the 20th minute and Daniel Amokachi for Nigeria in the 31st minute.
In the final, which took place in front of 35,000 spectators in the König-Fahd-Stadion, Denmark won 2-0 against defending champions Argentina with goals from Michael Laudrup in the eighth and Peter Rasmussen in the 75th minute.
