Dominic Tan Jun Jin (born March 12, 1997 in Singapore ), also known as Dominic Tan , is a Malaysian soccer player.

Dominic Tan was born to Malaysian parents from Penang in Singapore . Since Singapore was his permanent residence, he was educated at the National Football Academy.

Career

Dominic Tan learned to play football on the school team at the Singapore Sports School. He signed his first contract in 2014 with Harimau Muda C , who played in the FAM League, Malaysia's third division . After 30 games for the club, he moved to Johor Darul Ta'zim FC after Johor Bahru in 2016 . Here he played in 2016 for the second team that played in the second division, the Malaysia Premier League . In 2017 he moved to the club's first team. The first team played in the Malaysia Super League . In 2018 he was loaned to Portugal for six months, where he played a game for third division club Vilaverdense FC from Vila Verde . Police Tero FC , a second division club from Thailand , loaned him out for the second half of the season in July 2019. With Police Tero, he finished the 2019 season as runner-up in the Thai League 2 and thus rose to the first division, the Thai League .

National team

Dominic Tan has played for the Malaysia national team since 2019 . He made his international debut on June 2, 2019 in a friendly against Nepal at the Bukit Jalil National Stadium in Bukit Jalil.
