Dominik Meurer

Dominik Meurer (born November 19, 1974 ) is a German actor, author and director.

Life

Meurer completed an acting training with Doris Kirchner / Stage Studio of the Performing Arts Hamburg, and has since worked as a freelance actor, author, director and lecturer. His acting engagements led him a. a. to the Bernhard Theater Zurich, the Volkstheater Millowitsch Cologne, the Winterhuder Fährhaus Hamburg, the Fritz Rémond Theater Frankfurt, the Schlosstheater Celle , the Theater im Rathaus Essen, the Komödie im Bayerischer Hof Munich and the Komödie am Kurfürstendamm Berlin. He stood in front of the camera a. for the ARD series " Verbotene Liebe " and the WDR series " Die Anrheiner ". Dominik Meurer sang and played in the field of music theater, a. a. with Walter Bockmayer at the Scalatheater Cologne, at the Tribüne Berlin and as boss in Alexis Sorbas at the Mayen Castle Festival . As an author and director, he wrote and staged numerous fairy tale adaptations, revues, comedy programs for stage and TV, comedies and dramas. As a lecturer for drama, he worked for the Stage School Hamburg for many years before he founded his teaching brand learn2workshops®, under which he has been a. a. for the Brothers Grimm Festival Hanau , municipal institutions such as B. the youth center Gevelsberg or the distance university in Hagen is active. In 2019 he published his first children's book "Tim Tannenbaum dreams of Christmas".
