Dominion is an American television series directed by Vaun Wilmott based on the 2010 film Legion , but with a different timeline. It premiered on June 19, 2014 on the US cable broadcaster Syfy . In September 2014, the series was extended for a second season. This 13 episode season aired between July 9 and October 1, 2015. Due to declining ratings, the series was discontinued after season 2.
Syfy had secured the rights for the German-language first broadcast . The broadcast ran there from February 8, 2016.
