Roxanne McKee (born August 10, 1980 in Canada ) is a British actress and model . She was best known for her roles as Louise Summers in Hollyoaks and Doreah in Game of Thrones .

life and career

Roxanne McKee was born in Canada in August 1980 but grew up in Sussex in the south of England . In 2003 she graduated from Royal Holloway , University of London with a Bachelor in Social & Political Science. She then worked as a waitress and recruiter before winning the 2004 Hollyoaks On The Pull show , a kind of talent show to find new actors for the popular British soap opera Hollyoaks . The role of Louise Summers was introduced in February 2005 as the vacation friend of Darren Osborne ( Ashley Taylor Dawson ). After holding this role for three years, she decided to get out of the series. Her character died a serial death in December 2008. During this time she won the British Soap Award in the Sexiest Female category in 2007 and 2008 and was nominated for it in 2006 and 2009. In 2007 and 2008 she also won the Inside Soap Award in the same category.

In July 2009, she was booked as a model for the Clothes Show Live. Also in 2009 she starred in the horror film F as Nicky alongside Eliza Bennett in front of the camera. Early 2010, she had two guest appearances on the BBC Two - sitcom The Persuasionists , one in the web series EastEnders: E20 , the 25th anniversary of EastEnders was shown. In the first season of the drama series Lip Service , which is about a group of lesbian women in Glasgow , Scotland , she played the recurring supporting role of Lou Foster . From April 2011 to May 2012 she was in the HBO - fantasy series Game of Thrones , based on the novels A Song of Ice and Fire of the American author George RR Martin is based to see. There she played Doreah , Daenerys' ( Emilia Clarke ) maid, who after betrayal is locked in a safe by her mistress. For this role she was nominated with the cast of the series at the Screen Actors Guild Awards 2012 in the category Best Acting Ensemble. In 2012 she was also in a guest role in the crime series Lewis - The Oxford crime seen and played in Wrong Turn 5: Bloodlines , the fifth part of the Wrong Turn series, the main role of Lita . In 2014, she took on the role of Queen Alkmene in Renny Harlin's action film The Legend of Hercules .
