Wrong Turn 5: Bloodlines (Alternative title: Wrong Turn 5: Bloodbath ) is an American direct-to-DVD - Horror from 2012 and the fifth part of the series of films Wrong Turn .

After escaping the Sanatorium in Glensville, three cannibalist brothers Three Finger, Saw Tooth, and One Eye, with the help of serial killer Maynard, murder countless people near the town of Fairlake, West Virginia . The first victim of the clan is news reporter Kaleen Webber, who is ambushed and cruelly murdered by the four while jogging.

Meanwhile, the five friends Billy and his girlfriend Cruz, Lita and her boyfriend Gus and Julian are on their way to the Mountain Man Festival in Fairlake. In order to avoid Maynard, who steps into the street in front of them, the car crashes, but everyone remains unharmed. Maynard simulates the victim and attacks the young men approaching him. The friends step on Maynard when Sheriff Angela Carter and her colleague Deputy Biggs drive by, end the attack and arrest everyone for drugs in the car. Carter takes them to cells at the nearby police station. Biggs secures the scene of the accident and is murdered by the cannibals. Billy takes the blame for drug possession, and Sheriff Carter decides to let his four friends go. Meanwhile, the cannibals murder a security guard at a nearby power station and, as before, shut down the phone lines to power the city. The teenagers meanwhile move into a motel room. Cruz decides a little later to visit her boyfriend at the police station, but is murdered by Three Finger. Julian also makes his way to the police station and learns that Cruz did not get there.

At the same time, Gus is dragged out of the motel room by the cannibals while Lita is showering. The cannibals cripple Gus' legs and run him over in front of the police station. Lita is also attacked, but is able to free herself and flees to the police station. Carter releases Billy and the imprisoned alcoholic, Moses, and gives them and Julian shotguns to defend themselves against the cannibals. Sheriff Carter tries unsuccessfully to contact a police station in the nearest town. Julian and Billy are warned by Carter when they decide to begin their search for Cruz. You ignore the warning and leave the station. They search the streets of the city, but after the discovery of Cruz's body they are caught by the cannibals and killed with a snow blower on the sports field. Sheriff Carter orders Moses to drive her police car to the deputies at the Mountain Man Festival. On the way the car crashed because of a nail tape on the street. After Moses woke up from his faint, cannibals took him to Fairlake and burned him alive. At the police station, Lita releases serial killer Maynard from the cell after he assured her that he would keep her alive. But he stabs her eyes out. Looking for help, Sheriff Carter finds her husband, who is tied up in a car. It turns out to be a trap: her husband dies after she opens the car door. Carter is captured by the cannibals and wakes up a little later in a cell in the police station. Her limbs are tied up and Maynard gives her a choice: Either she dies from the fire that Maynard's henchmen, the cannibalistic brothers, are laying in the police station, or from a wire structure on her feet: If she lets her heels hit the ground, she would be shot by a bandaged shotgun. Carter decides to die from the shotgun just before the conflagration burns down the police station. The cannibals drive away. Lita, who is trying to flee the area, wanders around the street and yells for help. A truck stops, she gets in and thinks she is safe. However, after hearing Maynard's voice, she realizes she got into the cannibals' truck.

  • The film received largely poor reviews in the United States.
  • Borislav Iliev already played one of the cannibalistic brothers in the third part.
  • The uncut version of the film, after being indexed on List A, was confiscated nationwide in January 2020.
