Finn Jones (born March 24, 1988 , actually Terence Jones ) is a British actor .

Jones was trained in a three-year acting course at London's Art Educational Schools . In order not to be confused with the comedian Terry Jones in the acting industry , he gave up his maiden name Terence (Terry) and renamed himself Finn for his work .

He made his first appearance on television in October 2009 in the second season of the Hollyoaks Later series , where he appeared in several episodes as a young lover. He played this role again in February 2010 in the main series Hollyoaks .

In January 2010, Jones also played Tim Hebdon in two episodes of Doctors' eleventh season . In April of that year he appeared in two episodes of The Bill as a young man suspected of murder. In the Doctor Who spin-off The Sarah Jane Adventures he was also seen in a double episode in the role of Santiago Jones .

From 2011 to 2016, Jones also played the role of the young gay knight Loras Tyrell ("Knight of Flowers") on the HBO fantasy series Game of Thrones .

In 2017 he took on the lead role of Danny Rand / Iron Fist in the Netflix series of the same name . He also took on this role in the series Marvel's Luke Cage and Marvel's The Defenders .
