Don Anthony
Don Anthony (actually Donald William James Anthony; born November 6, 1928 in Watford ; † May 28, 2012 ) was a British hammer thrower .
In 1954 he finished fourth for England at the British Empire and Commonwealth Games in Vancouver , in 1956 twelfth at the Olympic Games in Melbourne and in 1958 fifth at the British Empire and Commonwealth Games in Cardiff .
In 1953 he became English champion. He set his personal best of 57.94 m on June 30, 1956 in London .
In 1955 he founded the English Volleyball Association.
