Don Edmonds
Don Edmonds (born September 1, 1937 in Kansas City , Missouri , † May 30, 2009 in North Hollywood ) was an American actor , film director and film producer .
Life
Edmonds was a paratrooper during his military service . His acting career began on various California stages; After his first television appearances, his film career began as a comedian in films such as April Discovered Hawaii and The Professor Can't Stop .
Edmonds achieved greater fame through his directorial work; After two erotic films at the beginning of the 1970s, he made two exploitation films, Ilsa, She Wolf of the SS and the sequel Ilsa - Harem Guardian of the Oil Sheik , which enjoy cult status today. He then made three more action films before directing the pilot for the television series Palm Beach Duo . He worked as a producer until 2004.
