Don McNeill
William Donald "Don" McNeill (born April 30, 1918 in Chickasha , Oklahoma , † November 28, 1996 in Vero Beach , Florida ) was an American tennis player .
Career
McNeill won the French championships in 1939 as the second American . In the final he defeated Bobby Riggs . A year later, McNeill won singles at the American Championships in Forest Hills . In 1965 he was inducted into the International Tennis Hall of Fame .
