history
The vehicle was presented as the successor to the Dongfeng Fengshen L60 at the Shanghai Auto Show in April 2019 as the "Fengshen D53". On May 20, 2019, the manufacturer announced that the sedan would be marketed as "Fengshen Yixuan". The car was finally launched in China in September 2019. The Yixuan is not marketed in other markets. Also in September 2019, Fengshen presented a battery-electric version of the vehicle. It went on sale in China in June 2020.
technology
Since there is a joint venture between Dongfeng Motor and the PSA Group , the sedan could be developed on the basis of the Common Modular Platform , which was introduced in 2018 with the DS 3 Crossback . Despite the significantly larger dimensions, technology from the Opel Corsa F or the Peugeot 208 II is also used. Accordingly, a battery-electric variant has also been produced since June 2020. The battery capacity is 47.7 kWh and provides a range of 400 km according to the NEDC measurement cycle. The permanent magnet - synchronous motor developed 120 kW (163 hp).
On the combustion engine side, in-line gasoline engines with 92 kW (125 PS) and 110 kW (150 PS) with a displacement of 1.0 or 1.5 liters are offered. Both engines are turbocharged and meet the China VI emissions standard .
