Dongnae-gu ( Korean 동래구 ) is one of the 16 districts of Busan . It is one of the central districts of the city. The district borders the Geumjeong-gu , Haeundae-gu , Suyeong-gu , Yeonje-gu , Busanjin-gu, and Buk-gu neighborhoods in a clockwise direction .

Dongnae-gu consists of seven dong (sub-districts), with all but Boksan-dong and Sumin-dong being divided into two or three other dong. The district thus has a total of 14 dong.

Dongnae-gu has community partnerships with Gochang , Hongkou , Huế, and Icheon .

Culture

The Chungnyeolsa Shrine, which is dedicated to the ancestors who fought against the Japanese armies in the Imjin War , is located in Dongnae-gu.
