Geumjeong-gu ( Korean 금정구 ) is one of the 16 districts of Busan . It is a northeastern and after the Gijang-gun and the Gangseo-gu, the third largest area in the city. The district borders Gijang-gun, Haeundae-gu , Dongnae-gu, and Buk-gu in a clockwise direction .

The district consists of 13 dong (sub-districts), most of which are subdivided themselves. The district thus has a total of 17 dong.
