Dora Schlatter (politician)

Dora Schlatter (born August 22, 1890 in Greifswald , † October 10, 1969 in Tübingen ) was a German-Swiss politician ( CDU ). In 1946/47 she was a member of the Advisory Assembly of the State of Württemberg-Hohenzollern .

Life

Dora Schlatter is the daughter of Adolf Schlatter , a Swiss professor of New Testament theology . Her aunt is the Swiss educator and writer Dora Schlatter . After her father accepted a professorship in Tübingen, Dora Schlatter lived there.

After the Second World War, Dora Schlatter joined the CDU and in 1946 became a member of the Advisory State Assembly of Württemberg-Hohenzollern . There she sat on the Rules of Procedure committee. Alongside Luitgard Schneider (CDU) and Gertrud Metzger (SPD), she was one of only three women in the state assembly. In 1947 she left again. She was a member of the Tübingen municipal council from 1946 to 1956. She devoted herself primarily to social and cultural tasks.
