Luitgard Schneider

Luitgard Schneider (née Schnurr; born August 17, 1893 in Karlsruhe , † December 2, 1972 in Rastatt ) was a German doctor and politician ( CDU ). In 1946/1947 she was a member of the Advisory State Assembly of Württemberg-Hohenzollern .

Life

After graduating from high school in Karlsruhe, Luitgard Schneider studied medicine in Munich , Tübingen and Freiburg . After completing her doctorate , she worked as a gynecologist and general practitioner . During the Second World War she headed the German Red Cross in Reutlingen . Until 1963 she had her own doctor's practice in Reutlingen. Luitgard Schneider was briefly married.

After 1945 she was one of the founding members of the CDU in Württemberg-Hohenzollern . From 1946 to 1948 she was a member of the Reutlingen municipal council. She was a member of the Refugee, School, Reconstruction and Economic Commission. At the same time, she was a member of the Advisory State Assembly of Württemberg-Hohenzollern from 1946 to 1947 , in which she worked on the constitutional committee.
