Dora Zech
Dora Countess Zech (born October 15, 1856 in Stuttgart , † March 6, 1912 in Munich ; married Dora Wahl ) was a German painter. In her work she mainly devoted herself to depicting flowers, still lifes and family portraits.
Zech studied in Erbach with the court painter Laurens Lodewijk Kleijn and later with Ludwig Schmid-Reutte in Munich. From 1900 she exhibited her pictures several times in the Munich Glass Palace . In 1906 she was represented at the Great Art Exhibition in Berlin.
From 1900 she was married to the music historian Eduard Wahl. Her grave is in the grave site of the Counts of Zech in the old cemetery in the Bad Friedrichshall district of Kochendorf.
