Location of Dorf in Rhineland-Palatinate

Dorf is the smallest district of the district town of Wittlich in the district of Bernkastel-Wittlich in Rhineland-Palatinate . The place was first mentioned in 952 under the Latin name Villera . The village was incorporated in 1969 and celebrated its 1050th anniversary in 2002.

The current mayor is Gerhard Hoffmann (as of 2019).
