The Dorfbach , sometimes also called Trebraer Bach or Trebraer Dorfbach , is a 1.6 km long right tributary of the Rotkehlchengraben in Trebra, a district of the Hohenstein community in the Thuringian district of Nordhausen .
course
The village stream rises from several sources southwest of Trebra. The course of the Gesundbrunnen flows into the Dorfbach at the southern development boundary of Trebra. It flows through, partly canalized, in a north-easterly direction through the clustered village . The small stream flows into the Ohe tributary Rotkehlchengraben in the north of the village .
Water quality
The village stream is polluted by the intensively agriculturally used corridor as well as by inputs from private small sewage treatment plants. That the nitrate value of the flowing water is too high is shown in the warm summer months by the formation of thread algae.
