Dorfdisko is the debut album by the German rapper Finch Asozial . It was released on March 8, 2019 on the labels Walk This Way Records and Warner Music as a standard edition and deluxe box set , including the Vorglow EP and instrumentals .

Content and style of music

On the album, Finch Asocial often refers to his East German origins in the lyrics . Other topics are parties and alcohol. Some songs also contain influences from the genres of electronic dance music and hits .

production

Patrick Thiede acted as executive producer on the album . All songs in the standard edition were produced by music producers Daniel Großmann and Matthias Mania. In addition, there are four productions by Neo Unleashed and one by Morlockk Dilemma on the bonus EP Vorglühlen .

Cover design

The album cover shows Finch Asocial, who looks at the viewer and stands in front of an abandoned building on which the word Dorfdisko lights up. At the top of the picture there is also the yellow lettering Finch Asocial .

Guest Posts

In addition to Finch Asocial, other artists appear on only three songs on the album. The song Ossi California is a collaboration with the rapper Plusmacher . Dorfdisko entered the German album charts at number 2 on March 15, 2019 and stayed in the top 100 for eight weeks. The album reached 18th place in Austria and 32nd place in Switzerland.

On October 3, 2018 the first single of the album was released with Richtiger Saufen , before the second release 601 followed on November 9 . On December 14, 2018, Departure was released as the third single, which reached number 63 in the German charts, which meant Finch Asozial first chart entry. In addition, a music video for The Last Real Macho was released on the day the album was released. On April 20, 2019, another video on Escalation was released , which was filmed on the village disco tour.
