MC Bomber (real name: Max Grambow ; born November 20, 1991 in Berlin ) is a Berlin rapper from the Prenzlauer Berg district . He has been under contract with the gynecologist - independent label Proletik since 2016 .

Life

MC Bomber originally came from the graffiti scene in Berlin and was active in various crews. MC Bomber first appeared as a rapper in the winter of 2013. Since then, he has released some free download mixtapes with a harder battlerap . His EP Storch oder Affen , released in 2015, together with Mecstreem was the first physical release and was released on vinyl via the independent label MOFO AIRLINES operated by Morlockk Dilemma and Hiob . In addition to Morlockk, Karate Andi and Rokko Weissensee were also represented as features . In 2015 he also played in the opening act for Morlockk Dilemma and appeared for the unusual Yung Lean on the Splash! -Festival on. His underground releases made him known in the hip-hop scene.

In 2016 a tour with Karate Andi followed. In March 2016 Frauenarzt founded his label Proletik and announced MC Bomber as his first signing. As a forerunner for Frauenarzt's album Mutterficker , Frauenarzt released a double video with his track KKF and MC Bomber's song Keine Wissenschaft . On July 8, 2016, MC Bomber's debut album Predigt was finally released , which reached number 7 in the German album charts.

Music genre

Stylistically related to his friend Karate Andi, MC Bomber is known for battlerap in the underground style of the 2000s. Influences are accordingly Taktloss and MOR. His stories are similar to the poetry of Charles Bukowski and deal with daily life in the lower class of Prenzlauer Berg. Boom-bap- beats serve as background music . Furthermore, the style , which is more based on old school rap , is enriched with samples of crackling vinyl without much flow variation .
