Finch Asozial (born April 13, 1990 in Frankfurt (Oder) as Nils Wehowsky , spelling FiNCH ASOZiAL ) is a German rapper .

Career

Finch Asozial first became known through his participation in the Battlerapformat Rap on Wednesday . He also runs a YouTube channel on which he has regularly uploaded his own songs since 2014. To date, it has over 280,000 subscribers. His debut single Ostdeutscher Hasselhoff was released in August 2016. In August 2018, the EP Fliesentisch Romantik followed . In July 2018 he took part in the TopTierTakeover , in which there was a rap battle between him and Clep. The related video was clicked over a million times. He made his chart debut with the single Departure , which was released in December 2018. After two weeks, the song made it to number 63 in the German single charts. The video for the song reached over 20 million views. His first studio album Dorfdisko was released on March 8, 2019 and immediately reached number two in the German album charts. On February 14, 2020 his second album Finchi's Love Tape was released, which also reached number two in the charts.

In 2020 he started a Twitch channel as "sweetfinchiboy90" and plays games regularly. He currently (as of June 27, 2020) has 30,000 followers on Twitch.

style

His mostly satirical texts are often written in vulgar language and characterized by Ostalgia and a consistently positive attitude towards modern East Germany and excessive drug consumption . According to his own statement, the focus is on chemical drugs. Its aesthetic is based on the GDR of the 80s .

Private life

Finch Asozial was born in Frankfurt (Oder) and grew up in Fürstenwalde . He trained as a mechatronics technician. He then worked for five years in the private sector before studying electrical engineering . He has lived in Berlin-Lichtenberg since 2013 , where he moved because of a job.
