Blönsdorf village church
The village church Blönsdorf is a stone church in the district of Blönsdorf in the municipality of Niedergörsdorf in the Teltow-Fläming district in Brandenburg . The church is a listed building. The church is located east of the Angers in the middle of a former churchyard. Today the church belongs to the Wittenberg parish.

The old church dates from Roman times. Two arched windows from this period are preserved on the north side of the choir. The west side of the tower was massive and may have been from the late 15th century; at this time the church was probably rebuilt. During the Napoleonic Wars , the church was a stable. From 1829 to 1939 the church was restored.
The previous building from the Middle Ages had become dilapidated at the beginning of the 20th century. In 1909 the church was closed, in 1910 parts of the church, such as the west wall, were demolished. The church was rebuilt from 1911 to 1912. Remnants of the old church were used. The church was enlarged significantly. It consists of a nave, a retracted choir and a semicircular, flat apse . The roof tower in the west is slated and has a pyramid roof. Old field stones were used in the construction . A sacristy made of plastered bricks is located on the north side of the choir. The plans came from the district building inspector Abesser.
The ship has a flat ceiling and there are barrel vaults on the sides. The parish seats are from the old church.
In the church there is an altarpiece from around 1700, which is now placed on the north side of the choir. The sacrament niche was created at the beginning of the 16th century, the door has been preserved. The baptism dates from the 18th century, the baptismal bowl according to an inscription from 1831. The pulpit must have been built around the same year. The organ was created by Wilhelm Rühlmann in 1912 . There are carved figures of Mary, John, Peter and Paul above the apse arch. In the middle there is a crucifix.
Other items of equipment in the church are an offering box from 1830 and a console with a pewter plate from 1831. In 1911 Heinrich Ulrich from Apolda cast the bell. According to an inscription comes from the tower clock mechanism from 1911, the manufacturer of the movement was the company JF Weule from Bockenem am Harz.
