The evangelical village church Erdmannsdorf is in the district Erdmannsdorf of the municipality Lippersdorf-Erdmannsdorf in the Saale-Holzland-Kreis in Thuringia .

The Erdmannsdorf church is located in the middle of the village between Dorfstraße and Landesstraße 1062.

history

In 1627 the small hall church was built. The beams and boards in the ship date from this time. The bells from the 13th century hung in the church tower until the Second World War . The bell inscriptions indicate a previously existing church or chapel .

Interior

The altar , pulpit and a stained glass window date from the Second World War. The altar crucifix is ​​a folk carving on the pulpit with angel symbols . Sculptor Louis Krause from Stadtroda created it in 1948. There is a harmonium on the west gallery . The church was built from field stones. Half-timbering is at the top of the roof structure .
