Jaltomata repandidentata is a plant type from the genus jaltomata in the family of the nightshade family (Solanaceae).
description
Jaltomata repandidentata is an herbaceous plant with a height of up to 1 meter. The stems are angled. The leaves are membrane-like and are up to 20 centimeters long.
The calyx is evenly colored green. The crown is wheel-shaped. Both the calyx and the crown are covered with tiny glands on the outside. The stamens are curved to S-shaped, the size of the anthers differs within a flower. On the first day of the flowering period, the anthers are closed, they only open on the second day, and at the same time the stamens also lengthen. The stylus is curved. The scar is slightly notched to bilobed.
The fruit is a purple to black berry , it is not completely enclosed by the calyx.
Distribution and locations
The distribution area of the species extends from Mexico to Bolivia . The locations are at altitudes between 400 and 1200 meters.
