The evangelical village church Gottesgrün stands in the district Gottesgrün of the community Mohlsdorf-Teichwolframsdorf in the district of Greiz in Thuringia on a hill and is surrounded by the cemetery .

history

In the middle of the street village is the small village church , which was probably built in 1657 on the foundation wall of the previous church.

The roof turret on a very steep roof is visible from afar. The interior has painted and simple wooden benches and a painted gallery . The altar and the crucifix date from the 17th century. The altarpiece is a wooden relief depicting the Last Supper . It is said to date from the 15th century. The font and pulpit date from the 16th century and have been taken over from the previous church.

The organ made by Johann Gotthilf Bärmig is not playable.
