Kleindembach village church
The Protestant village church Kleindembach is in the district Kleindembach the community Langenorla the oppurg in Saale-Orla in Thuringia .
history
The originally late Romanesque church was first mentioned as a chapel in 1412 . In the 15th century as part of a restructuring that were late Gothic sacristy and a cross vault inserted, as well as the behind the organ on the gallery located tabernacle . The bars in front of the windows convey a defensive image.
In the roof turret with the tower clock there are two bronze bells that were delivered from Karlsruhe in 1993 .
The organ was created by Adam Heinrich Gruber from Adorf in the Vogtland between 1720 and 1725.
The pulpit is carved into the gallery with wooden stamps, as is the altar . The baptism is a simple stand.
The church is surrounded by a well-preserved wall.
An overpainted picture of Christophorus was found and restored.
